Obituary of Ambrosia Louise Kerr

Ambrosia Louise Kerr, 87, of North Port, Florida passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Kerr was born November 19, 1924 in District of Hopewell, Hanover, Jamaica to Wilford and Bodecia (nee London) Jarrett and moved to this area 6 years ago from Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was a homemaker and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Kerr is survived by her sons, Bertram (Sharon) Kerr of Jamaica and Furdyce (Lovetta) Kerr of New York City, NY; daughters, Monica (Milton) Vernon of Jamaica, Carlene (Alpheus) O'Connor and Veronica (Arthur) Davis, all of Rahway, NJ; brothers, Victor, Melvin, and Lloyd Jarrett; sisters, Ida Sappleton and Althea Jarrett; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in Jamaica with burial at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanover, Jamaica.
