If you’re seeking an honorable celebration of life, we invite you to learn more about where we came from, our vision, and the dedicated people behind our work.

A History of Caring

After suffering extensive damage during Hurricane Charley, Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery remained operational from temporary facilities. During that time we were owned by a large, out of state company. In 2010, new, local owners, Brian & Debbie Strauch began much needed renovation to the funeral home building.

In 2012, Michael Fuller and Rick Tuss purchased Charlotte Memorial and made a significant investment to complete the renovation of the 12,000 square foot facility.

Not only is Charlotte Memorial the only full-service funeral home, cemetery and crematory combination in Charlotte County, we are also the most beautiful! We like to refer to ourselves as “The Perfect Combination.”

Having a funeral home, cemetery and crematory in one location is especially advantageous here in Florida since family members frequently travel long distances to attend a funeral or memorial service here. With everything handled in one location, there is no traveling across town through traffic.

Whether you are looking for cremation inurnment, burial spaces, mausoleum crypts, funeral services or transportation up north for your loved one, we are able to help.

We can also provide granite or bronze grave markers for installation anywhere in the country.

Our Staff’s Dedication to Respectful Care

A funeral, or memorial service, should provide family members and loved ones with the chance to reflect, remember, and celebrate a life well-lived. Our goal is to create exceptional services and experiences that fulfill the wishes of your loved one. Our experienced Funeral Directors provide guidance on the crucial first steps toward healing.
