As expected, this weekend was very bittersweet. The passing of Martha Spiriti was very sad; however the incredible warmth and comfort received from the overwhelming turnout of family and friends at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda and Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory was a blessing. Thank you to everyone that made this occasion special for Martha!
In addition, the Family thanks you all for the outpouring of flowers that were received! Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda was extremely grateful for those that we donated in Martha's name for use at Sunday's Mass! We shall forever be grateful and always continue to PAY IT FORWARD!

Martha was a wonderful woman and was a blessing to us. She referred to us as "her kids". God put her into our life to share her wisdom with us and inspire us to one day be like her. She was my mentor and was loved by all, especially us, and will certainly be missed. Martha is in Heaven with our Lord.

Dear Joe, Antonio and Dante,
Patty and I loved your mother/grandmother as she was truly a special woman of God. We are thankful she is in the hands of Jesus, dancing/singing with him now, as we know her last months were difficult for her. Martha was an amazing example of a Godly loving selfless woman, a precious example of Jesus and how we are to love others. Lessons we all need to remember.

Martha was a faithful member of the Sacred Heart Charismatic Prayer Group for many years.
