Obituary of Frederick E. Roderick

Frederick E. "Rod" Roderick, Jr., 69 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on August 15, 2016. He was born on March 12, 1947 in Fort Belvoir, VA on March 12, 1947 to Frederick E. and Emma I. (nee Sheeler) Roderick, Sr. Fred loved the American flag and proudly served as a police officer and presidential escort. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen M (Hoyt) Roderick; son, Matthew; daughter, Kim; two grandchildren, Tyler and Jenna and other loving family members and friends. Fred will be greatly missed. There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, August 25th at 5:00 PM at American Legion Post 103, 2101 Taylor Road in Punta Gorda, Florida.
