I have wonderful memories of my Aunt Dolores. She was a great lady and a strong role model for her family and friends. Aunt D was strong in her faith and I'm sure prayed for me when I was going through difficult times. As I became an adult we grew closer and I will always be grateful for our conversations. If she needed to say something important--that perhaps I wasn't ready to hear--Aunt D would begin with "Now Lisa . . ." to be sure she had my attention. And I did pay attention because she had a lot of wisdom to share. I know that Aunt D was so proud of her daughters and grandchildren and cared deeply about her sons-in-law, and nieces and nephew. I always felt loved and I'm sure they did too. My thoughts are prayers are with you Karen, Robin, and Kathy as you try to navigate this world without your mom. It will be difficult, but I know that you are as strong as she was. Love and hugs to each of you!

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Delores. I am so sorry in which there are no words to make it any easier as you go through your time of loss. I always loved my Aunt Delores and she was an amazing lady. My Mom Joan Crady loved her as a dear friend not only as a sister in law. My prayers are with you all Kathy, Karen and Robin. You are dear to my heart and I will be thinking of you all. God bless and just rejoice that she is with Uncle Bob now and pain free. I love you all.
Love Kathy

When I was just a kid my family took a trip to visit my mom's (Nita (Thompson) Gervin) side of the family. We stayed at my Uncle Bob and Aunt Dolores's house. She made us lasagna, it was the best lasagna I have ever had, this was in the 1970's. When we got home I asked my mom if she could ask my Aunt Dolores to send me the recipe for her lasagna. She sent me the recipe typed on a index card, and to this day I still have it.
Now 40 years later my Aunt Dolores's lasagna recipe is my family's favorite. So every time I make this for my family I think about my Aunt Dolores, very warm, caring, always happy person. I believe that my mom thinks of my Aunt Dolores as more of a sister then a sister in-law. You will be missed, but I know for sure, that you are in heaven with Uncle Bob.
Love you!
