Obituary of Sharon Tubay

Sharon Tillman Tubay passed away at the age of 71 on the morning of May 3rd, 2024. Her devoted husband of nearly 51 years, Bob Tubay, was by her side when she went to be with the Lord. Sharon was a bubbly, caring, and feisty woman with incredible dance moves. With Bob, she raised two children: Marc Spencer Tubay and Emily Elizabeth (Tubay) Silberman. Sharon adored her five grandchildren and loved sending funny and sentimental memes and texts to her family. If you knew Sharon, you knew she was a Jack-of-All-Trades. Her professions included: phlebotomist, florist, CPR instructor, non-profit worker, and obituary writer (could’ve really used her help with this!). Her most important role was as a devoted and loving wife, mother, friend, and community member. Sharon also enjoyed quilting, walking, cooking, and admiring her newest pair of shoes. Sharon loved New Life Church and its community of Saints. She found the greatest pleasure in discipling others to pursue a life in Christ through love and service to the glory of God. As she endured her illness and suffering, she and Bob found great strength and reassurance through the abundant love received from their church community. Sharon is survived by her husband, Bob, her children (Marc & Amy Tubay, and Emily & Ryan Silberman), her grandchildren (Roman & Ivy Tubay, and Lucy, Milo & Nora Silberman), and her brother (Bruce Tillman). The memorial service for Sharon will take place at 11am on May 9th, 2024, at New Life in Christ Church. The service will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.
