Obituary of Barbara Dawn Scheele

Barbara Dawn Scheele (Robbie) Age-64 of Punta Gorda, FL. Passed away at her residence on January 27th 2024 . Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 2nd 1959 to the late August and Delores Scheele. Robbie graduated in 1978 from West Islip Highschool and moved on to receive a BS in Accounting from New York Institute of Technology. She was co-owner of Sun West Recovery and an active member of Allied Finance Adjusters where she was the former President and Secretary. Three of the biggest loves in Robbie’s life were her work and her life partner “Stevie” and stepson “Jay”. Robbie has been a resident of Punta Gorda for the last 26 years. Robbie is survived by her life partner Steve Kaplan, her stepson Jay Kaplan and her sister Joanne Scheele. A visitation will be held on Friday February 2nd from 12noon till 1:00 pm at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd. Punta Gorda where a funeral service will follow at 1:00pm followed by interment in Charlotte Memorial Cemetery.
