Obituary of Alberta Gleason

Alberta Gleason was a kind and devoted wife, mother, grandmother to 9 grandchildren and great grandmother to 12 great grandchildren. To know her was to love her. She brought joy to every occasion and lit up the room with her smile. She left the world suddenly on January 2nd of 2024 at the age of 89 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Pompei and Mary Pagliarini of Cranston, RI on December 10th of 1934. Alberta ( Bert) and her husband, James H Gleason, just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on October 31st. Together they had 4 children. She leaves behind James F Gleason and wife Patricia, sons Jason, James and Ryan. Shawn J Gleason and wife Cathy, daughter Jessica and son Shawn. Kelley A (Caulkins) and husband William, sons Russel, Robert and Edward Wilkinson. Matthew Gleason and daughter Mackenzie. She was the loving sister of Frank Pagliarini and predeceased brother Pompei Pagliarini. Alberta and her husband James were never far from each others side enjoying life filled with art, music and family. They are long time residents of Snug Harbor, RI and Punta Gorda, FL. To the world, Alberta was one person, to her family she was the world. May she rest in eternal peace.
