Obituary of Susan Joyce Vlcek

Susan Vlcek, age 73, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023. Susan was born on May 26th 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia and was a graduate of Chamblee High School. She is the daughter of the late Ida Mildred and Henry Grady Chambers. Susan retired from General Motors as a Quality Control Engineer. Susan enjoyed swimming, fishing, shopping and walking. Susan is survived by her husband of forty years Tom, a sister Nancy Hollifield, a niece, Shawn Lambousis; a nephew Matt Hollifield, two stepdaughters; Sue (Mark) Dressel and Bonnie (Glen) Price. Four grandchildren; Taylor (Jess) Hartter, Mackenzie Cox, Tucker Price and Tory Price. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 19th 2023 at 11:00 am at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd. Punta Gorda, FL. Interment private. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in Susan's name.
