Obituary of Carol Kelly

Ann Carolyn Kelly, 81, of Punta Gorda, FL, died on October 7, 2023 in the care of Tidewell Hospice, Port Charlotte, FL. Carol was born October 10, 1941 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Anna Dakunchak Urban and Stephen Urban, Sr. Carol was the devoted wife of James Kelly for 58 years. She came to Florida from Ballston Lake, NY in 1980. Carol was a graduate of North Georgia College, Dahlonega, GA and worked as a registered nurse for 31 years. She worked in various hospitals and as a nurse supervisor in a nursing home. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Madeira Beach, FL. Carol is survived by her loving husband James; her children Paul, Timothy and Lorrie; her grandchildren Anna, Aidan and Joseph; and her sister Donna. She was predeceased by her brother Stephen J. Urban, Jr. Services are pending at this time.
