Obituary of Tanya Faye Brozowski

Tanya Faye Brozowski (Padgette) 74 years old. Passed on August 4 2023 after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her father William Benners Padgette and mother Beatrice Arlene Padgette (Suter), sisters Jeanette (Jet) George and Micheline (Micky) Kelleher Bennett and brother Randall (Randy) Padgette. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years James, sisters Janice Padgette, Roberta McIntyre, and Eve Urso and her husband Philip, and brother Edward and his wife Susan. She will be missed by son Mathew Brozowski and his wife Lori and their 5 children, Emily, Renee, Timothy, Andrew, Carolyn and her husband Grant and their 2 offspring Dawson and Rowan. She will also be missed by Daughter Tanya Mekelburg and her husband Christopher and their 2 children Mathew and Katherine. She also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews, and beloved friends whose love and support was always felt. Tanya was born in Seattle, Wa. in 1949. She grew up in Wayne, NJ in the Lion's Head Lake section and graduated from Wayne High School in 1966. In 1972 she and James and the kids moved to Bloomingdale, NJ and in 2005 Tanya and James moved to Upper Greenwood Lake Hewitt, NJ where she stayed until retirement in 2017 then moved to Punta Gorda, Florida. Tanya went to beautician school but found that grooming dogs was her calling. After grooming for several years she opened her own shop "The Bow Wow Beauty Shop" in Midland Park NJ and operated it for 22 years until her retirement.
