Obituary of Robert Justin McDaniel

Robert “Bob” J. McDaniel, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on June 2, 2023. He was 89 years old. He was born on October 14, 1933, in Indianapolis to parents Robert and Marguerite McDaniel (whom he is predeceased by). He graduated from Arsenal Tech High School and then joined the United States Air Force. He retired from the USAF as a Senior Master Sergeant, then worked in Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He lived in Port Charlotte for over 20 years. Robert liked to golf and traveling. He was a member of the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Robert is survived by his wife Shirley, his brother Thomas (Sharon) McDaniel, his nephews Joseph (Carla) Culp, Danny (Rosa) Shields, and niece Kelli (Kurt) Easton. Services will be held starting at 2pm at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered prior to entombment.
