There are not enough words to say how much Norm will be missed and fondly remembered by me, my wife Terry, his cousins, and of course countless others who were fortunate enough to know him throughout his remarkable life. Quite simply Norm was a family legend, I cannot think of anyway else to characterize him. As others have commented, he was the oldest of our generation and gave us every reason in the world to look up to him from the very beginning of our lives. From early on it was obvious he was destined to succeed more than your average person. I was always in awe of his military service and his career progression serving our country,. Over the years when he came to visit for family gatherings you knew it was truly something special, we all paused and made sure we we were updated on his latest career move and adventures. I still remember him driving a very cool car to my parents house on one of his first visits home after joining the Air Force - I was hooked on Norm after that! As they say, a life well lived. I will forever hold close to memories of Norm - a family man, a man who serviced his country with uncommon courage and integrity. Rest in peace Colonel and cousin Norm, you have earned it.
God Bless you Becky and family,
John Genesky

Norm was the first child in our generation of cousins. My whole life, I have been aware that Norm was serving our country, as his Mom would update our family at picnics about his latest assignment. Now that I am a "senior," I truly respect him for his service to our country. Thank you, Norm, for your commitment to America.

When I was about 8, I watched Norm play sports for West Seneca High School. When I was high school age, Norman always asked about my life when I saw him. One of the last times I saw him he was a little cold at a family party in my parent’s garage in Oakfield, NY. I joked with him that his blood had thinned from living in Florida. I always looked up to him as he was my older cousin, and since he made his mark in this world and was well traveled. I will miss my cousin, Norm, and the conversations we had. Rest in peace, Norm.
