Obituary of Agnes R Jordan

Agnes Rachel (Swanson) Jordan, 78, went home to be with our lord on December 18, 2022. She was born on a Dairy, Cattle, and Tobacco Farm to the late, Donald Swanson and Ora Rachel (Brent) Swanson, March 12,1944 at home, in upper Marlboro, Maryland. Born South of the Mason Dixon Line, Ann was proud to tell everyone, she was not a Yankee. She was known by many names; Annie, Mom, Ms. Ann, and Mama Ann, she loved them all. Her greatest love was her husband of 62 years Dennis, her children Marla, Dennis Jr, Steve and the grandkids. That was her life. Ann was a relentless volunteer when it came to her kids. She could always be found helping with the kids at school and the fair. She filled their bellies with food and their hearts with love. She never met a stranger. She loved everyone. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years Dennis Jordan Sr., daughter, Marlene & Husband Jerald Johnson, sons, Dennis Jordan Jr. and Steve Jordan, grandchildren, Nichole & Husband Troy Spalding, Steve Jordan Jr., Shantel Jordan, and Audra Orlando& Husband Thomas, great grandchildren, Case Allen, Carter Allen, Laniyya Jordan, Breasyn Jordan, brother, Donald Swanson, sister, MaryJane (SweatPea) and many other family and friends. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ora Swanson, brother, Billy Swanson and sisters, Fanny Randall, Elizabeth Webb and Virginia Smith. The family will receive friends for a visitation, 10:30 am, Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at Ft Ogden Baptist Church 6831 SW Senate St, Arcadia, FL with funeral services to follow at 11:30 am.
