Obituary of Ingrid Margaret Sullivan

Ingrid M. Sullivan, 88, of Port Charlotte, passed away Sunday, March 10th. She retired to Port Charlotte 26 years ago from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. She was actively involved with the Scandinavian Club of Venice, serving as president for several years. She was also a member of the Catholic Parish St. Maximillian Kolbe. Ingrid enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, gardening, painting, and music of all kinds. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, her daughter Bonnie, and her granddaughter, Kristina. She is survived by three daughters, Beth, Laurie, and Robin, special family friend Patricia Astle, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday, March 15th at 11 AM at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, followed by a service and reception at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Charlotte Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ingrid's memory be made to St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish, 1441 Spear St, Port Charlotte, Florida or to the American Cancer Society.
