My deepest sympathy to the family. I wanted to share a memory of Assistant Manager Felwith. This man went above and beyond for our store , his family and anyone who was lucky enough to have worked with him truly a blessing. Always a smile ... He would start his evenings with “ Good morning, good evening, good night 17 years later I still can hear his voice. He made our overnight team the best. As was he. Rest In Peace my friend you will never be forgotten. #1171 Sarasota Florida

After my visit to Wal-Mart Yesterday - I woke up this morning- January 6th,2013 and for some reason I looked up Mr. Felwith on Google. I am so sad to have found this out. My deepest sympathy to The Family and Friends of this wonderful man.
It was in 2003 when I met Felwith on my overnight shift at Wal-Mart. He would always start the night crew out with his special greeting- " Good Morning - Good Evening-Good Night" . Mr. Felwith always had a smile!! Even when the back room was packed with freight . He always found a way to fix the problem. I have to say I never forgot him or his enthusiasm to work. He taught by example. He was our Night Manager- the difference between him and other manager's was he would throw freight just like the rest of us. I admired his kindness and cheerful way. A good honest and positive man.
With Deepest Sympathy, Angela Nolan # 1171

It is with sadness that I write on this wall. Last night, about 1:00 AM, Felwith's name came to me and seeing that I am reuniting with all my former Grammar School friends from St. Vincent, decided to google his name and this is the information I got. I am saddened, however, I managed to speak to someone at this funeral home and got some information. To Jennifer, and the rest of your family, I express my heartfelt condolence to you.
Felwith was my friend and he was indeed Christ-Like. I want to say so much more, but I am so broken.
If possible, please contact me.

Elder Charles will be surely missed for his dedication, Christ-like character, spirit-filled life, winsome smile, and his deep concern for the brethren at Faith. He was always encouraging us to lift high the banner of Prince Emmanuel. We hope to see him again in the earth made new. Until then "sleep and take your rest."
Karen, Kaal, and other family members, although you are sad now, please take comfort in the hope that you will see your loved one again when Jesus returns for His own.

When our sorrow lie heavy upon us
And the burden seems too much to bear
The words that often come to mind
"Give it to God in prayer".
Karen,Kaal,Aunty Sandra and Family,
I ask Our Heavenly Father to guide you.
And to ease all your worries and pain.
Face tomorrow with hope
It's never as dark as it seems

The God of the mountains is still God in the valley
When things go wrong, He'll make them right
And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times.
The God of the day is still God in the night
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Karen and Kaal as you go thru this valley.
Remember there'll be no graves on the hillsides of glory.
Love from

Felwith Charles, my son-in-law lived a life in testimony of his faith in Christ. Over the years, as I became better acquainted with him, I can say that from the time he was baptized to brief sojourn on this earth, Felwith would tell others of the wonderful relationship one can have with the heavenly Father through His son, Jesus Christ.
Many people, even those at his workplace can truly confirm that he was both modest and gracious in his dealings with them.
Although we are sorrowful about his sudden demise, we take comfort in the life he has lived. Hoping that when our journey on this earth is over and it's our turn to go home that we will be ready; ready for that great day when we will awake from our sleep to behold our Saviour. May this be our desire.

Bro. Charles was a great man, a nice, kindhearted and friendly person. It does not matter what you ask him to do or how hard the task was; his reply was "I'll try!"
There are so many things to be said about Felwith: a friend you can count on. The Maitland family has known him for almost 30 years, and never found a fault in him. Now that he has gone, our heart break ...We truly feel like a shadow. We never knew that we would lose our dear loving brother this early. Throughout the years that we have been working together, for almost 30 yrs, Brother Charles stood firmly for the right. We truly believe we'll meet in the earth made new. Bro. Charles will always be remembered.
May God bless his family and my prayer is for all of us to join him in God's Kingdom.

It is hard to put into words when trying to say something of someone who is unique as Felwith. His smile, his hard working never complaining nature set him above the BEST. While I was working with him, I could never keep up. He would kid me in a nice way and would always let me know he was just having fun with me. Felwith will be missed! The world has lost a good man, and heaven has gained what we have lost.

I was always felt welcome at the Faith Seventh Day church when I saw Felwith. He always greeted me with a smile, letting me know that he loved seeing my mom and I there. I was in his Sabbath School class. He taught in a way that he wanted everyone in the class to participate, and it was so. I felt that he was always proud of his wife and especially his son.
Overall, Felwith was a great man and will be missed. I was surprised when I heard that he passed. He was also a hardworking man. He was friendly and well spirited.
We'll meet again because He also love the Lord.

Felwith and I worked at the Registry Department in the early 1980's. He was a very warm, friendly and kind young man. He showed great love towards his dad and siblings.Felwith was always jovial and always had an infectious smile. We were good friends. we lost touch when he migrated to the United States of America. About two years ago on his return to SVG he visited me at my office, I was thrilled to see him and he promised to be back soon.
When I received the news of his death, I was shocked, death is something that we cannot get accustomed to. Felwith will be greatly missed by his wife, son, his dad, brothers, sisters and other relatives and friends. His memories will live on for a long time, he has gone but will not be forgotten.. We can all rest assured that one day soon we shall meet again.
Goodbye my friend.

It is with tremendous grief and sadness that i pay tribute to my friend of many years.I got to know Felwith back in the 1970's as a student of the St.Vincent Grammar School. My father and Felwith's dad both worked in Mustique at that time, they were very good friends,so naturally it was no accident that Felwith and I maintained that bond.We both went through Grammar School and thru share co incidence or divine Providence when i took up my first employment in the Government Service at the Registry i met Felwith as a member of staff.Felwith and I exchanged ideas, opinions and discuss all the issues of the day.I happen to have had a hand in Felwith's life partner Karen. He shared some of his secrets with me.It was therefore no surprise that i was afforded the distinct honour of being his Bestman at his wedding. The religious path i have taken was as a result of the influence of Felwith. We both maintain contact over the years even when separated by sea."We can never get accustom to death" i have heard that statement before. However, words cannot describe the shock i am experiencing when news reach me that Felwith is dead.We saw each other about 2 years ago,he did tell me that he is not going to stay away from Saint Vincent for so long before coming back.I thank God for allowing me the priviledge of meeting Felwith. As i have posted on my laptop,"this laptop that i am using was given to me by my friend Felwith when i was in Law School'.I know Karen it is hard for you,all of his friends in Saint Vincent have taken it hard also,we did not see this coming at all. My family joins me in expressing deepest sympathy to Karen and Son and all the other relatives. My family will continue to pray that God will give you all the strength to cope in this difficult time.I stand ready to assist in anyway possible. That is the most i can do for my departed brother and friend. As a people with a Blessed Hope,we look forward to that day when death will be no more.I believe that one day i shall see my brother once again when we shall meet in Heaven.May his soul Rest in Peace.
