Obituary of Thomas Morgan Pope

Thomas Morgan Pope, 59, of North Port, Florida passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Pope was born July 25, 1953 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to Donald and Hilda (nee Awalt) Pope. He was a self-employed geologist and was a graduate of Murrey State College in Murrey, Kentucky. Mr. Pope is survived by his wife and best friend, Susan Pope of Lexington, KY; children, Joel (Jamie) Pope of Lexington, KY, Hunt Pope of Lexington, KY, Shelby (Gary) Sacks of North Port, FL, and Morgan Pope of Lexington, KY; and grandchildren, Layla Sacks, Elliot Pope, Peyton Jane, Kate Sacks, and Chris Sacks. He was preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Madeline Sacks and Isabella Pope. A Memorial Service and burial will be held in Lexington, Kentucky.
