Obituary of William R. Heidelberg

William Raymond Heidelberg, 90, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte. Mr. Heidelberg was born January 26, 1923 in Warren, Ohio to William H. and Marie B. (nee Jones) Heidelberg and moved to this area 31years ago from Champion, OH. He worked as an electrician for an auto manufacturer and was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War serving in the US Navy. Mr. Heidelberg was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Mr. Heidelberg is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Dougherty) Heidelberg of Punta Gorda; sons, William Robert Heidelberg of Port Charlotte, FL and Dr. David R. (Susan) Heidelberg of Norwalk, OH; daughter, Mary Ellen (James) Bogos of Champion, OH; cousin, Raymond Heidelberg of Chaparral, NM; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be Friday, February 22, 2013 after the 8:00AM mass at San Antonio Catholic Church Memorial Garden in Port Charlotte.
