Betty and I have been friends for a life time. She was a great mother, wife, and a friend. She overcame anything life handed her. I am so glad I got to speak to her before she left for the hospital.....our last words to each other, "I love you Deb" "I love you too Bet" I have a piece of my heart with her.....love ya Bet...Deb

"Aunt Betty" as you will always be known to the Bobby Curtis girls was a gentle, kind woman. When the news of your passing came our eldest daughter Allie recounted that when we came to visit you in Florida quite a few years ago you gave her a beanie baby chipmunk that she named, Chipper. Chipper went everywhere with us and Allie even spent quite a bit of time building a cardboard house for him. Our other daughter Maddie remembered that each time we've used our summer vacation to go on a mission trip to inner-city Philadelphia that "Aunt Betty" was one of the first to ask if she could help sponsor our trip. Each Christmas we would receive a lovely bit of sunshine here in Ohio, from Florida courtesy of Len and Betty. Those grapefruit and oranges were delicious and we were always thankful for them. Our family will always remember grandpa's sister, Aunt Betty, as a kind, generous woman who loved us all very much.

Your time came too soon, my dear niece. When I think of you I see you as a little girl, holding up a toast (with ginger ale) at my wedding. Then later with that beautiful bright yellow Chevrolet. I can see my friend, Bob, and your father, Bob, up in heaven having a big influence on that day. Now you are with them. In spite of some hard times, you rose above it, and had a great life, always with a smile and kind word. You will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace, sweet one.
Love from Aunt Phyllis
