Obituary of Rose Muia

Rose Muia, 90, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL. Mrs. Muia was born March 12, 1922 in New York City, New York to Antonio and Rose (nee Sansone) Grande and moved to the Port Charlotte area 35 years ago from there. She worked as a school crossing guard and was a member of Senior Friends in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Muia was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her! Mrs. Muia is survived by her sons, Anthony F. (Margaret) Muia and Joseph M. (Debra) Muia, all of North Fort Myers, FL; and sister, Jean Ginocchio of Wake Forest, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmelo, in 2003. Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 (Kings Highway) in Lake Suzy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00AM on Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Avenue in Port Charlotte.
