Obituary of Thomas F. Vance

Thomas F. Vance, 69, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. Mr. Vance was born July 27, 1943 in Camden, New York to Harold A. and Anne M. (nee Miller) Vance. He worked as a buyer for a department store and was also a veteran of the US Army serving as a Sergeant from 1975-1977. Mr. Vance was of Baptist faith. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Mr. Vance is survived by his son, Shawn Thomas Vance of Magnolia, AR; step-son, Peter Quartuccio of Virginia Beach, VA; mother, Anne M. Vance of Lake Suzy; brothers, Leon (Kathy) Vance of Port Charlotte, Theodore Vance of Ohio, Richard Vance of Parrish, FL, and James (Eva Maria) Vance of Port Charlotte; sisters, Michelle Sabasuk of Punta Gorda, FL and Dawn Morris of Lake Suzy, FL; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
