Obituary of Anne Howard

Anne F Howard 89, of Birmingham, Alabama died Sunday February 17th, 2019 peacefully in her senior living home at Port Charlotte , Florida. Born April 17, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama she was the daughter to the late John and Kathryn Ford. She went to Trussville High School and worked for Southern Bell of Birmingham before marrying her late Spouse of 59 years John D Howard of Birmingham, Alabama. Anne was a true southern domestic goddess to her family and friends. She was an avid golfer and bridge player . Anne was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining her many friends and loving family. Anne has two surviving daughters Kathryn Anne Willis and her spouse Rupert Lee Willis, and Donna Howard Blythe and her spouse Joseph Michael Blythe. She has four living grandchildren Evelyn Anne Willis, Christopher Howard Blythe, John Lee Willis and Beth Anne Taylor. Anne enjoyed visiting with her surviving six great grandchildren, Hudson, Caleb, Meriel, Harlyn, Olivia and Joshua. A graveside service will be announced at a future date to be held in Hoover, Alabama to lay her ashes at rest with her late husband John D Howard.
