Obituary of Julie S. Cunningham

Julie S. (Sue) Cunningham, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at her home. She was born February 23, 1921 in Greenwich, Connecticut. Sue was a secretary and worked in medical and law offices and assisted in the daily operations of a local storage facility. She was a caretaker, both in the private sector and in nursing homes in the Charlotte County area. Sue is survived by her son, Fred (Lynn) Mazzella of Ames, IA; brother, Elwood "Ed" (Barbara) Safron of Punta Gorda, FL; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her former spouses, Nicholas Mazzella and Ritchie Cunningham, brothers, Bill Safron of Greenwich, CT, and John Safron of Waco, TX, and parents, John and Susan Safron of Greenwich, CT. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 (Kings Highway) in Lake Suzy, FL.
