Obituary of Henry Michael Bolas

Henry Michael Bolas was born in Lambert, PA February 14, 1931. He attended German Township High School and graduated in 1949. From 1949-1953, he spent 4 years in the Navy as a 3rd class Boatswain's mate. In 1953-1969 he entered into the hairdressing field. Henry owned Bolas Coiffures in Cleveland and a Bakersfield, California salon called Gold Fingers. Henry also dabbled in real estate from 1953-1968. He then ventured into the hotel/motel business all over the country from 1970-1992. He and his beautiful and beloved wife Joan shared a lovely life together and especially enjoyed travel around the US, Europe and Costa Rica. Henry is survived by his wife Joan. Also surviving are children Judy (Joe) Gloria, (Ken), Joey (Alyce), 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grand children and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Mary Bolas, his brother Leonard, his sister Pat Corvallis and granddaughter Kristi Mayfield. A funeral mass will be held for Henry at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 211 W. Charlotte Avenue Punta Gorda on Friday, September 30th at 11am.
