Obituary of Robert E. Bresnahan

Robert E. Bresnahan, 96 years old, passed away in Port Charlotte on September 10, 2016. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana on August 9, 1920 to William and Cecelia (Flanagan) Bresnahan. Robert was a proud Marine and earned a Purple Heart during his dedicated service. He and his beloved wife, Lilly (Ruth) came to this area in 1989, where he became a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and the American Legion. Together, they enjoyed the beautiful weather and peaceful surroundings. Robert will be missed by all who knew him.
