Obituary of Georgian Kern

Georgian Kern of Port Charlotte passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and friends on Saturday August 13, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. Georgian touched the lives of every person she met and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Georgian is survived by her two sons, Michael and John. Four grand children; Christine, Corey, Brandon, Logan Kern and two great grand children; Baleigh and Lucas. Georgian was pre deceased by her loving husband of 48 years, James Herbert Kern and her son James "Jimmy" Kern. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 18 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy Street in Port Charlotte.
