Obituary of Kenneth H Markussen

Kenneth H. Markussen, 94 of Port Charlotte, died August 8, 2016. Mr. Markussen was born in 1921 in Scribner, NE and came to this area 39 years ago from Cary, IL. He was a retired sales representative from Matthews Co. in Crystal Lake, IL, an active 4-H leader for 25 years in IL and has enjoyed woodworking and crafts in Port Charlotte for the past 25 years. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Kenneth) Daniels of Port Charlotte; granddaughter, Charlene (Sean) DeGraw; great grandson, Jack of Port Charlotte; brother, Valdean of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Jeanene Wehrbein of Plattsmouth, NE; and several nieces and nephews. A Visitation/Funeral will be held on Friday, August 19 at 2:00 PM at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
