Obituary of Sharynn A Kozenko

Sharynn A. Kozenko, 65, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at her residence. Ms. Kozenko was born July 28, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to Theodore F. and Anne M. (nee Jacko) Kozenko and moved to this area 22 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. Sharynn retired from AT&T after 37 year career at Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH and Miami, FL, working in quality assurance and management training. She attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Ms. Kozenko was involved with the community through the Charlotte Players and Team Port Charlotte and she played regularly in a premier Mahjong league. She was also a founding member of St. Stephens Byzantine Catholic Church in Euclid, Ohio. Ms. Kozenko is survived by her brothers, Theodore F. (Louise) Kozenko, Jr. of Mentor, OH and David M. Kozenko of Port Charlotte, and several aunts, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Avenue in Port Charlotte. Interment of cremains will follow in St. Charles Memorial Garden. A reception will be held at 1:00PM at Charlotte Players, 1182 Market Circle (Murdock Industrial Park just north of the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall) in Port Charlotte.
