Obituary of Douglas Stephen Gelb

Doug Gelb, 53 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on June 15, 2016. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ to Eugene and Marilyn Gelb. Doug previously worked for many years as the General Manager for California Pizza Kitchen in Estero and was presently working as the General Manager for WAWA in Ft. Myers. Doug was predeceased by his father and brother and is survived by his beloved wife, Cecile Lee-Gelb; children, Chandler Gelb and Madeline Gelb, both of FL; step-children, Kira Singh of HI and David Singh of TX; siblings, Eugene Gelb and Nicole Dezayas, both of FL; and many other loving family members, friends, coworkers and close family friend, Dr. Fred Swing. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 3:00 - 4:30 PM, with a service starting at 4:30 PM, at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda 33950. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held on Saturday, June 25, starting at 1:00 PM at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home.
