Obituary of Roger E. James

Roger E. James, 58, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at his residence. Mr. James was born August 25, 1953 in Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada to Benjamin and Isabel (nee Orr) James and moved to this area 42 years ago from Warner Robbins, Georgia. Mr. James worked as a manager for an air conditioning company. Mr. James is survived by his loving wife, Sue M. (nee Lindquist) James of Port Charlotte; sons, Jason (Dawn) Lindquist James and Benjamin Gerald James, both of Port Charlotte; mother, Isabel James of Punta Gorda; sister, Sandra (George) James-Nogaj of Port Charlotte; sister-in-law, Anna (Michael) Vann of North Fort Myers, FL; brother-in-law, Gerald Lindquist of Port Charlotte; and grandchildren, Jason Logan James and Alexa Marie James. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM - 1:00PM on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 (Kings Highway) in Lake Suzy. A funeral service will be held at 12:30PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
