Obituary of Jorge Poggi

Jorge Poggi went home to be with theLord on Febuary 8, 2012 at home. He was born on April 23, 1946 inCaguas, Puerto Rico. He was born again in Febuary 1970, at the TeenChallenge Program in Brooklyn, NY. He was the loving father of GloriaPoggi of Valrico FL., and David (Lakesha) Poggi of Port Charlotte. Hehad four beautiful grandchildren: Cesar, Angel, Chanel and Savannah.He will also be missed by his extended family, his many friends andrelatives, and by his Christian family. He was a loving, dedicatedhusband to Georgia, the love of his life. He was an ordained ministerwith the Independent Assembly of God. He pastored three churches andtraveled to many countries to preach the gospel, as well as servingin his local church. He loved Israel and made many trips to HolyLand. He was a man of worship and prayer and loved God, his family,and his church. A celebration of his life will be held February 14, 2012 at Calvary Assembly of God.
