So sorry on the passing of such a bright light. Cousin Marina ran around NYC like the place belonged to her and was never one to be tied down.
A spark with great insight on life, Wolfie and the rest of us will most certainly miss her.
Lots of love,
Barbara Persaud, Joey, Gillian, & Wolfie (Charles) Jagroop

Cousin Marina and I spent countless precious times together. She came to stay with me when Aunt Edna was gravely ill (her first cousin)and she was there to comfort me after aunty died. These words will be forever be etched in my memory. Flo she said I will stay with you for a few months I will not leave you. This is a time that I would have felt most down and depressed as I would have been at home alone looking at my aunt's empty chair. She did spend six months with me.
I loved her voice and her wicked sense of humor (monkey -tigers ect )as we would spoke sometimes an hour or more on the telephone.
May you rest in peace my dear cousin. Gone but not forgotten.
Love always Cousin Flo.

Having spent many, many weekends with my Aunt, I grew to admire the kindness within, loved her laughter, would tease her about her love of John Wayne movies, never tired of hearing her stories about her other siblings often jocularly told. I remember her sewing outfits for me when I wanted to impress a young man on a date. She was always forthright, always smiling and always giving even if she had to do without. I loved her. She would be missed but in my heart I will always have and cherish her many memories.

Magnanimous, modest, an Aunt we grew to love
Ascended now to the heavens above
Resourceful in spite of the roadblocks ahead
Inspiring others with the life she led
Nurturing to all both far and near
Always will be remembered with thoughts so dear
Engaging, industrious, loving and kind
Living her life with others in mind
Selfless and with purpose she strove
Imaginative with the yarn she wove
Enjoying all she did from the heart
Persevered when things seemed bleak
Encouraged others to reach for the peak
Respectful to all those around
Concerned and caring when others were down
Innovative and with fortitude she pursued her goals with zest
Valiantly living life to its very best
Affectionate to all she knew, with qualities so rare
Lasting and loving memories we will always share.
In memory of our beloved Aunt Marina. May her soul rest in peace. Lovingly remembered by Malvyn, Ann, Bert, Pam, Ava, Donald, Peter and all their families.

The Rose Beyond The Wall
A rose once grew where all could see,
Sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as days passed swiftly by.
It spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day a beam of light shone through
A crevice that had opened wide
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side
Now, you who feel it's loss,
Be comforted-the rose blooms there.
It's beauty even greater now, nurtured by
Gods own loving care.
Cousin Marina. You are that rose, a beautiful and caring person.
We feel privileged to have spent some very good times with you and we will miss
you dearly.
May the Lord comfort Debbie, Gail, Herbert your children and grandchildren also Deryck and Sandra.
Love: Flo,Peter and Andrea.
