Obituary of Jeanne L. Lamirande

Jeanne L Lamirande, 76, of Punta Gorda, Fla., fell asleep in death Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her home where she was recovering from a short illness. She was born Feb. 13, 1940 in Winooski VT and later raised her family in Methuen, Ma. She worked for the Raytheon Company, where she retired then relocated to Florida. Jeanne was a strong and independent woman who enjoyed life to the fullest and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her. Her heart was broken with the death of second husband, John Lamirande in 2009, and her daughter, Lisa Dube, in January, 2015 after losing a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Jeanne is survived by her two sons. Scott Dube; and daughter-in-law, Pamela, of Kennesaw, Ga.; Keith Dube; and daughter-in-law, Krista, of Boise, Id.; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and faithful dog Bella whom she loved very much. Services are private and a private burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, Ma.
