Obituary of Wilda Ann Moore

Wilda Ann Moore, 101 years old, of Port Charlotte, Fl passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1st, 2016. She resided at Brookdale, South Port Assisted Living, where she received excellent care. Wilda was born March 29th, 1915 in Kokomo, Ind. to Ora Elmer Gray and Laura Merie (Sauer) Gray. She married Raymond B. Moore October 30, 1941. They resided in Speedway, Ind. until moving to Port Charlotte Fl. in 1972. They had no children. Her husband died in 2009 at the age of 97. Wilda moved to South Port/Brookdale independent living for the next five years before health concerns required assistance until her passing. She is survived by a foster sister Saralei Burns of Logansport, Ind. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 5th, 1:30pm at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd, Punta Gorda, Fl Memorial Contributions should be made to Hospice or a charity of your choice.
