Obituary of Louise R Thompson

Louise R Thompson died peacefully on April 7th in Port Charlotte, Florida at the age of 83. Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack R Thompson. She is survived by her brother, John Ralston of Pensacola, Florida; her three children, Chris (Shirley) Thompson of Ada, Michigan, Kathy (Albert) Garrard of Brilliant, Alabama, and Scott (Melane) Thompson of Wheaton, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Jenny (Will) VanLoenen, Chelsea (Kyle) Fiegel, Zack (Tasha) Thompson, Becky Thompson, Dean Thompson, Amber (Nathan) Oliver, and Adrienne Thompson; and two great grandchildren, Lily and Liam. Louise was born on May 25, 1932 in Mt Vernon, Ohio to the late John and Ethel Ralston. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in 1954. She and Jack raised their children in Michigan and retired to Punta Gorda in 1992. They were members of St. Andrews South Golf Club and Louise was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Southport Square East Lobby (23023 Westchester Blvd, Port Charlotte) on Monday, April 11th at 1:00 pm with a dessert reception to follow.
