Obituary of Nola May Vogler Westbrook

Nola has peacefully passed to spend eternity with the Love of her Life! Nola was born in Houston, Texas, married Lloyd Westbrook and had five children. The family drove from Texas to Alaska in the 1960's, lived in a tent on the banks of Eagle River for a very brief time then moved to Anchorage. Nola was a CPA and worked for BP on the Alaska Pipeline in the 1970's. She moved to Washington State, then to Helotes, Texas where she and Lloyd built their retirement home and kept active together creating a bird sanctuary behind their home. Nola stayed in Texas for a few more years after Lloyd passed, then moved to Florida. Her final words included: "Tell your Dad I will be at the Party, we are going Dancing!" Survivors include Westbrook children: Laura, Caryn, Russell, Theresa and Valerie Grandchildren: Jessie, Tiffany, Dana, JD, Kaycee, Adam, Tia and Lydia Many Great Grandchildren, her Brother and many other Loved Family Members and Dear Friends Special Thanks for personable and loving care to the staff and friends at Palms of Punta Gorda. Celebration of Life will be November 12, 2016 at Englewood Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donation in Nola's name to Alzheimer's Association http://www.Alz.org/donate
