Obituary of Robert Anthony Ingani

Robert Anthony Ingani, age 69, of Port Charlotte, Florida died February 25, 2016 at Tidewell Hospice. He leaves his wife, Laurie Hawkins Ingani; son, Dominic; granddaughter, Lily; and brother, David of Monessen, PA. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Marie Ingani. Bob was born in Charleroi, PA and moved to Port Charlotte 44 years ago. He received his BA from Youngstown State University and his MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He was an Allstate Agency Owner/Agent until his retirement in 2012. Bob enjoyed fishing in the beautiful waters of Southwest Florida and held a captain's license. An avid golfer, Bob enjoyed the company of his golfing partners. A longtime Rotarian and member of the Methodist Men's Club, Bob traveled to Haiti and the Dominican Republic on humanitarian missions. He was a passionate Steelers fan and followed the team to many Super Bowls. Bob loved his family, friends, and customers. His greatest pride was his son and granddaughter. He loved to laugh and make others laugh and could rock just about any Doo Wop tune. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Contributions be made to Tidewell Hospice or the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
