Obituary of Marie Colontonio

Marie Colontonio was born on June 2, 1937 to Mario and Domenica Regolizio and was from Brooklyn, New York. She passed away February 9 in Port Charlotte, FL. Marie lived in Charlotte County for over 40 years. She leaves behind three children, Monica Macho of Fort Myers, Diane Vangyzen of Port Charlotte and Frank Colontonio (Bridgett) of Port Charlotte. She was preceded in death by two children, baby Luke Colontonio, and Elizabeth Colontonio MeNeeley. Marie also leaves a brother, Leo Regolizio (Mary) of Brooklyn, New York. She has six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two nephews and two nieces. Marie was a loyal servant of her God, Jehovah. She was baptized in June of 1976 and relentlessly preached the Good News of Gods Kingdom to all she met. She was a strong woman with strong convictions. Her faith and love in her God and Father Jehovah was extraordinary. In the face of many hardships throughout her life she stayed firm to her faith and her God. Marie was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 40 years and attended the Kings Highway Congregation. Revelation 21: 3&4 Services for Marie will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. located at 1261 Rutledge Street, North Port, FL 34288.
