Obituary of Herman Kalmaer

Herman Kalmaer, age 74, died peacefully at Tidewell Hospice on February 1, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 12, 1941 to Sam and Bessie (Kaylie) Kalmaer. Herman graduated from the School of Aviation Trades and worked as an aircraft metal mechanic and inspector for Trans Union Airlines. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, loved boating, animals and carpentry, and was a craftsman in many areas. He also truly enjoyed giving back as a soccer coach and volunteer. Herman is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn (Yaslonsky) Kalmaer; children; grandchildren; and other loving family and friends. Services will be private.
