Obituary of James Theodore Roberts

James Theodore Roberts Jr. passed away at his home in Lake Suzy on January 24. He was 77. James was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 30, 1938 and visited Florida for many years with his beloved wife Sandra before settling in Lake Suzy nine years ago. James and Sandra were married for 55 years. James was very proud of his Army service and was a retired Detroit Firefighter. He was an avid golfer and will be missed by his many friends and loving family. Cremation has been chosen by the family. James will be inurned at Sarasota National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Salvation Army.
