Obituary of Andre Manuel Garcia

Andre Manuel Garcia was born January 10th 1948 in Key West, Florida. He was born to Antonio Garcia and Rosa (Vargas) Garcia, both of Key West also. He spent all of his life on the Island. Andre was a very humble man and enjoyed the smaller things in life. It delighted him having a family breakfast or BBQ, venturing out to Mallory Square to watch the performers and the sunset, and walks down Smathers Beach. He was very caring, making donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital as he could. He served three years in the U.S. Army (1967-1970). He was a hard worker and an all-around family man. He worked a very dedicated 31 years in the U.S. Civil Service. He will be remembered for his bravery, kindness and all of the joy he brought to the family. He is survived by his sister, Sonia (Garcia) Spencer (Tonya, Rosa); two sons, Patrick Garcia and Andre "Danny" Garcia; two granddaughters, Kayla and Alexis Garcia; and his niece, Cynthia (Garcia) Williams, among many other especially loved ones in Key West also. Heaven gained a magnificent angel on January 2nd 2016. We will miss your loud snoring, your big smile, the warmth of your hugs, your words of wisdom, and much more. Andre's service will be held on Saturday Jan 16th at noon at the Key West Cemetery (701 Passover Ln, Key West, FL 33040).
