Jack & I struck up a friendship at the Pt. Charlotte Golf Club 20+ years ago. We always had golf & farming in common, so we never ran out of conversations. He has spent most Christmas dinners with us through the years. He faithfully contributed carrot cake, made by a sister-in-law.
He even came to visit us in Indiana a few years ago & spent 3 nights. Jack was interested in what was in our sheds--tractors, combines, etc. He even got in on a repair project on the combine.
Needless to say, we were shocked when he didn't arrive for Xmas dinner this year.
He will be missed.
