Obituary of Steven J. Bizeur

Jan 15, 1925 - Oct 28, 2015 Steven J Bizeur Age 90 passed away peacefully Oct 28, 2015. Steven was born Jan 15, 1925 in Haverhill, MA to Andrew and Annie Kleha. He attended Haverhill Public Schools. He joined the US Navy at age 18 and served as a Corpsman with the 4th Marine Division in the Pacific Theatre during WW 2. After the War he returned home, married Germaine Simard, and lived in Dracut MA. He then attended East Coast Aero Tech and then worked for Delta Airlines for 32 years until his retirement. Upon his retirement he moved to Port Charlotte FL and later North Port. He was a Member of the American Legion Post 110. He is survived by his wife, Germaine; children, Sandra Direda, Steven Jr, Michael, and Bruce (AKA Chris); two Grand Daughters, Lisa Haham and Katie Bizeur; and Great Grand Daughter, Ella Haham. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy St., Port Charlotte. Inurnment with military honors will immediately follow at Charlotte Memorial Cemetery, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda. A Celebration of Life will follow inside, at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota 34238.
