Obituary of Heinz Grieger

Karl Heinz "Hank" Werner Grieger 82 years, passed away peacefully at sunrise, at home with his family, Tuesday October 13th. Hank will be dearly missed by Mary, his devoted wife of 55 years, son Joseph (Tammy), daughters Susan (James) Marchant, Heidi (Philip) Harnden and 7 grandchildren of Port Charlotte. Survived by his brother Werner (Rosie) in Germany, sister-in-law Klara, Ontario Canada and his favorite nieces Mon (NY), Cakesie (CA) and extended family. He was preceded in death by brothers Helmut and Erich, sisters Ursula and Erika. Hank was born in Striegau Germany August 12, 1933 to Josef and Maragrete Grieger. In 1954 a 21 year old adventurer; he immigrated to Ontario Canada. After numerous careers, dairy worker, landscaper and business owner; a baker by trade he resumed baking in 1970 in Ancaster. In 1987 he and Mary came to Florida, a dream he had for many years. Together they owned businesses in Charlotte County until he retired in 2003. The family wants to extend their gratitude to the Tidewell Hospice team: Darcy, Martha, Jo, Tara and Shannon each of them a special part of his days. In lieu of flowers they request donations be made to Tidewell Hospice for the care and support provided through Hank's long journey. And now till we meet again, Adios, Au revoir, Auf wiedersehen……….
