Obituary of Lucy A. Ascuitto

Lucy A. Asciutto, 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. Ms. Asciutto was born July 10, 1927 in New York City, New York to Rosario and Jennie (nee Battaglia) Asciutto and moved to this area 21 years ago from Staten Island, New York. She worked as a bookkeeper for a wholesaler and was of Catholic faith. Ms. Asciutto is survived by her son, Mark J. (Acela) Asciutto of Port Charlotte; brother, Joseph Asciutto; sister, Anna Asciutto; and 2 grandchildren, Demetrio Asciutto and Marco Portuondo. Family will receive friends from 10:00AM-1:00PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 - Kings Highway in Lake Suzy. Graveside services will follow at Charlotte Harbor Cemetery in Charlotte Harbor.
