Obituary of Dorothy Kraus

Dorothy M. Kraus, 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Kraus was born April 21, 1925 in Blue Ridge, Texas to William and Mary Catherine "Molly" (nee Cantrell) Young and moved to this area 30 years ago from Lyndenhurst, Long Island, New York. She worked as a restaurant manager and was of Catholic faith. Mrs. Kraus is survived by her sons, Charles W. Kraus, III, Daniel E. Kraus, both of Port Charlotte, FL, Gary Roetto of Dunnegan, MO, and Larry Roetto of Cape Fair, MO; and sister, Bonnie Tallant of Wichita, KS. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 4:00PM on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church, 1441 Spear Street in Port Charlotte.
