Obituary of Beatrice Cate

Beatrice (St.Onge) Cate, 93, of North Port, Fl. passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Quality Health Care Center of North Port. She was born on November 11, 1921 in Suncook, NH to Adeland and Laura (Levasseur) Hardy. Beatrice and her husband, Marshall, moved to Port Charlotte, FL. around 1988. They were active with the Cultural Center of Charlotte County and belonged to the United Methodist church. Beatrice is survived by two sons; Bernard St. Onge of Nashua, NH and Stanley St. Onge of Hudson, NH, two daughters, Pauline Hyson of North Port, FL. and Elaine Brisson of Manchester, NH, a step son, Stephen Cate of Nashua, NH, twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one brother, Herve Hardy of Suncook, NH, one sister, Estelle La Roche of Delaware, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall, in 2011, her son Normand St. Onge in 1999, a grandson; Douglas St. Onge in 2004, one brother and two sisters, and her former husband; Dolard St. Onge in 2002. Beatrice will be buried in the Sarasota National Veterans Cemetery, beside her husband Marshall, at a later date. No services are planned.
