Obituary of Catherine S. Gendek

Catherine S. "Kay" (nee Sikorski) Gendek, 96, widow of William J. Gendek, passed away on August 6, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living facility. Kay was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in November 1993. She was a retired hairdresser who had her own shop for many years in the Olney section of Philadelphia. Kay is survived by various nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Avenue in Port Charlotte. Burial and graveside services will be on September 8, 2015 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road in Doylestown, PA.
