Obituary of Mavis Evadny French

Mavis Evadny French, 107 died in North Bergen, New Jersey on July 4, 2015. She was born in West Indies, Jamaica on Jan. 24,1908 to James Alexander McMillan and Phebe Ann Angus. She came to Port Charlotte from Long Island in 1973. She proudly served as a nurse for many years. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives. A celebration of life will be held at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery and Crematory, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Road in Punta Gorda on Friday, July 17 at 11:00 AM followed by entombment in the Jesus Mausoleum.
