Obituary of Jean Leonard Louis

Jean Leonard Louis, age 92, died peacefully Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Harbour Health Center in Port Charlotte, Florida after a brief illness. Jean was born March 2, 1920 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and was the middle child of 3 children. Jean touched the lives of many with his smile and agreeable nature. He had a passion for gardening and enjoyed whittling. But, most of all, he loved his family who brought great joy to his life. Mr. Louis is survived by his five children, Margereth Gourege, Ramarre Louis, Jean Mario Louis, Michaelle Louissaint, and Marie-Marthe Falaise; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren, too numerous to mention. He is preceded in death by his daughter Yvette Alfonse. Visitation will be held from 9-10:00AM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Brooklawn Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM at the church. Burial will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport, CT.
